Question of the month[Q:] I just bought a new SUV and the rear windows are already tinted, should I just fit Smash & Grab to the two front windows so they match?
[A:] This is a very common mistake made by most customers buying new vehicles from dealers. The tinted windows are simply a dye extract that is added to the glass to darken the glass for added privacy. This process does not strengthen the glass in any way nor will it hold the glass intact in the event of a Smash & Grab robbery or accident causing potentially dangerous glass shards to enter the vehicle.
Solution: fit Smash & Grab laminate on ALL windows ensuring the safety of ALL occupants in the vehicle.
